the title literally means something like "To speak singing". It's in Italian and is intended as a way to teach Italian, as a second language, to kids through singing simple (and not so simple) melodies with Italian lyrics. That's why it appears in Germany but I have seen it also reviewed in Austrian and French sites.
If you go to www.seraph.it and click on "works" you'll see its icon. You can read something about it, in english, and listen to some samples Very Happy

Thanks for the background. The music is just beautiful. The songs sound very operatic. Maybe you should compose an opera.

The sounds don't sound synthesized. How did you do the cello and the flute?

Are you using this to teach your son Italian?

Fab. Bravo...

Thanks, I have to say that those 27 songs are quite nice. This guy I worked with was sending me faxes from Paris, France where he lives (and teaches Italian as a second language to French kids). He wrote melodies and lyrics so I had to come up with everything else (harmonic structures, arrangements, intros, outros etc.) Every once in a while he was coming back here to review my work and that's why it took us a couple of years to finish it. Once the midi pre-production ended I had to call the singers, record and mix everything. The quality of the recordings is far from being "stellar" but it was good enough for the job.
btw I am not an opera fiend so I don't think I'll ever write one!

everything is absolutely synthetic. I don't recall what I used. I think I had an Alesis QSR, nanopiano, nanosynth, nanobass, HR16, Roland D110, Yamaha TX802, TX81Z, MU100R (I don't think I used any sampler)

well....Jarik's native language seems Italian already Very Happy
