Listen to SpectraTrio1
Listen to SpectraTrio2
Listen to MaelstroĢˆm

These 3 pieces are studies I recorded while learning how to interact with the Spectrasonics trio of softsynths: Omnisphere, Trilian and Stylus RMX.

I have had Omnisphere for a few years but I had refrained from acquiring the other two because I thought they were going to choke my MacBookPro. I was wrong and was pleasantly surprised to see how CPU efficient they are (I am not affiliated to Spectrasonics, just a happy customer).

The first two pieces are new ones while the third one is an old one I had composed many years ago but never recorded.

These pieces should be evaluated as technical exercises more than for their aesthetic value but personally I find them enjoyable too.
