Subject description: for all stock G2 modules with sync and FM inputs

As the title says, a little building block that provides control over the initial phase of all stock G2 oscillator modules that provide sync and FM inputs. Eg. for setting oscillators to a desired phase position on note-on events, crucial for percussive sounds.

The bi-polar oscillator phase control goes from -180 degrees (-64 CU) over zero to +180 degrees (64 CU).

The circuit is based on careful analysis of the behavior of the stock G2 modules when responding to sync triggers and FM signals, as well as the numerical dimensions of their internal phase accumulators.

As mentioned in the patch 'name bar' tab, keep the FM mode in 'Lin' mode (and the FM input at maximum) for everything to work as intended.

Is it mean each unit = 2.8125 degrees ?

You're welcome. Smile And yes, you're correct. But rather than thinking in degrees, I personally prefer to think of -64 to +64 CUs covering the range of one wavecycle.

By fiddling around in the demo version, I've discovered a few things about the behavior and internal numerical workings of the stock G2 oscillator FM inputs, of which this is one simple example. There are a few more possible applications, some of which could have been very handy for me. Too bad I don't own a hardware G2 anymore.
