ive stumbled yesterday over this PCB software from https://dexpcb.com/
and purchased it today, i guess i would not have done so with the normal price.

so if you, like me, are looking for a new software , feel free to have a look

it seems that it is offering pretty much everyting, but in a modern way,

including a picture on the 3D model of a ceramic cap Shocked

I wonder why (and from what) they (AutoTrax) excluding Konekt's Electra autorouter (which costs from 400 to 1300 $ alone). Is it part of AutoTrax or not?

I can see in the manual that you can choose between internal and Electra router.
And (auto)router is what I am interested in most of all.

So in the package you've just bought is there an Electra router also or internal router only?

As i find kicad painful, eagle as bad as 30 years ago and altium and protel too expensive for personal use i was very interested as well. Browsing the web quickly brought me to the eevblog forum, which deterred any further interest in buying this. But between the lines the author says that the konekt autorouter is built in (or was). I‘ll now have a closer look at diptrace.

I've downloaded it and tried to make something but couldn't even create simple 0204 resistor part. So uninstalled it.

hm, i was afk since the purchase,
and i had a outdated email in my PayPal, so i even can not say if the License was sended to me.

i have tryed diptrace the last days and i can say it is really not bad,
as i never use autorouting i can not judge the autorouter

by searching diptrace Topics i stumbled over autotrax
and asi watched the tutorial Videos the Little voice in my head sayed: buy it!

time will tell if i have trown 65 Bugs out of the window or not

I have used FreePCB for years now after giving up on eagle .
tried Diptrace and Kicad while both are ok I preferred FreePCB, just easier to work with then anything else, I guess it suits me. must admit I have never used autorouters , so cant help you there.

Due to a lack of a powerfull-CPU on my nightshifts, i still stick to diptrace.

May one day i will try out autotrax.
