Once Dave Peck suggested an extra Morph using the modulation input to a parameter and a constant module to set the morph value. Using a level scaler one can set the range. It worked in the Classic, so it has to work in the G2!

Hmmm? Ah yes. On the NM1, I sometimes needed more than the four Morph groups so I created psuedo-morph groups using one Constant module (assigned to a panel knob) to control lots of other parameters. You route the signal from Constant module to various mod inputs, or use it to control VCAs that, in turn, control the levels of various other mod signals going to mod inputs. Use inverters, level scalers, shapers, etc. to alter the response & polarity of the Constant signal as needed on some of the destinations.
Info on this in the archives:

and for those parameter who's parameters cannot be modulated (like sequencer levels or eq's you can always route you extra "morph group" or "additional morph parameters" controls mixed with an offset (a 2 mix with your morph as one input and original value as a 2nd input mixed) to a midi cc send internally and map this cc to your desired parameter ...
I rarely need more morph params ...

Couldn't morph groups basically be replaced if they just allowed a Midi CC signal to be sent to multiple sources? Isn't that basically what morph groups do?
I think if they kept the 8 standard morph groups, but added that feature, along with the ability to set range and polarity of MIDI CC's, it would be set, at least on this end... _________________ Studio:
