ooo... i'm featured on BASS GUN's new release...

i provide one of the remixes of "forward slash" by Smashback on the new UK label BASS GUN.

this is quite different to my stuff for Sunday Best. this is more dancefloor/rave orientated music in the conventional, functional UK bass/dance music kind of way.

do check it out, spread the word and purchase if it pleases you

Cool stuff, I listened to yours and the original and I like what you did a lot. Fresh stuff, is this a digital only release?

digital only. sign o' the times it seems... at least for a small label like that just starting out. quite a few of my friends are using traktor scratch now and god-bless-em, are spending a lot of money at places like beatport (this seems to be the shop of choice...)

for stuff on bigger labels i'd expect a clause in the contract that obligates the label to release physical (i.e. vinyl...) versions of each initial release.

thanks for the comment btw! it's the functional dance music itch i just have to scratch Wink

i wonder how long it will be before i can't resist scratching the avant-garde itch. problem is, that's the one album i'm going to want to do properly, and spend a lot of time doing. maybe when i hit 45...!?
