bbob, sweet image, I love those protoboards, I prototype anything low frequency and low power on them. Seeing this thread has inspired me to add Lunettas to the EChucK project - what a great way to reuse classic circuit designs! I need to go read up on prior Lunetta posts, Lunettas are cool!

lunetta stuff was the first thing i thot ov when i saw your eChuck post.

Yes, I wonder how much my awareness of Lunettas contributed to my gears turning and creating EChucK. Certainly there is plenty of room for Lunettas in EChucK.

speaking of (solderless) breadboards... here's a layout for 3 basic 40106 oscillators... for folks just getting started...

substitute pots or photocells for the 3 resistors (between pins 1-2, 3-4, and/or 5-6) for variable variousness.

that's great bbob and is almost identical to my first 40106 3 osc experiment i did last night, only yours it's layed out much better, i will change it to your design Wink

also i was trying to the get one of the oscs to 'click' using a >5 uf capacitor, but while it was working on its own it wouldn't when put together with the other 2 (sorry is this observations are too obvious!)
