Nord Lead 2x volume problems |
 |
|
I recently bought a Nord Lead 2x and have found that there are a number of variations in volume between various pre-programmed sounds, with some being noticeably louder/quieter than others...
Does anyone know if there is a way to set the Nord up so that each sound plays at the SAME volume level? Thanks |

yeh, I've had the Nord Lead 2X for 4 days now..
I've notice the same thing. So far I only know to adjust the master volume. I assume you would have to tweek the program and then save it.
Other thing, while running scales at the same as changing programs the keyboard, the thing wacked out........started makeing strange sounds, regardless of program or mode changes. I cycled the power and all is fine.
Sure do like the way this keyboard sounds and the control you get from the various switchs & knobs. This is a great addition to all the romplers I have. |

Using it in combination in Layers and Performances there is some room to adjust it to each other. When the level is completely up (127) it doesn't match so easily.
The differences are made by using BPF or HPF. Just Change the Filter mode in a Program, and you'll notice the BPF is much less in volume then the Notch+LPF This is normal on a synthesizer.

It could be, because the NL2(X) is very sensitive toward a large amount of Midi information.

Remove the question marks are you've got it. I believe you are correct on the asumption of MIDI overload. I found this in the manual......if there is a next time I will hit the "PANIC" button and see if the remedies the problem. |
