See : http://electro-music.com/forum/post-208855.html

Users yves and elettromusic seem to only be here to post about their obsolete component services, is this really a service to the DIY people here or should we consider this as spam (and ban those users)?

yves has only the 2 posts in total, to that thread only. Elettromusic I've seen before, he's kind of opportunistic, but I would hesitate to call them spammers, as to me spam is something totally off topic, like Russian nude babushkas pushing pharmaceuticals through Nigerian 419 scams. anyway, I think it more fits the opportunistic advertising than spamming.

Sure ... opportunists ... Laughing

But I'll not explode on it, was just curious to see what people think about it.

I have to admit, if I see someone asking for something that Magic Smoke stocks, I'll (in my gentle, subtle way) gently and subtly remind that that I have said items available. So I guess I'm guilty of the same thing at times.

Have I mentioned the gentle, subtle thing? Wink

Tim, if that would be the only thing you did here I might agree with you, but now I don't Wink
