Hi Wout, can I ask a really n00b question based on what you have said above?

First, I have a nord rack 1, there does not seem to be a sine waveform on there, is this something one only gets with the 2 and upwards?

Also, from searching and reading this forum yesterday I finally managed to work out manual mode on my rack 1, that has been troubling me for far longer than it should and this place helped where the manual and clavia couldn't.

Thanks so much, brilliant forum and i intend to stay.

sorry for the thread jack btw.

It's only on the NordLead2 and 2X, the NordLead3 has it too, but the NordWave you'll have to use the FM mode for it. To be optimistic: who needs a sine wave anyway? It's a boring sound and not much of any use...

Let the Clavia boys develop and let people like us clean up the battlefield Wink

it was about a random sine wave cropping up in a Nord 2 Wout

you have answered my question entirely, I did not think there was a sine on there and you're right, boring wave, no harmonics, not needed

Thanks for the welcome, I hope I can help as much as I get helped during my time here Very Happy Very Happy
