NL3 died!!! Please help!!! Subject description: My beloved synth has died. . . . |

Please help!
Yesterday my beloved NL3 turned off while on, completely stopped working, and will not turn back on. It's not the power cord or sources (I have 2 extra, all 3 work).
It stopped working immediately before a live performance. There may have been lots and lots of things plugged into the same circuit as my synth, but I'm really not sure. I'm hoping it just blew a fuse and didn't suffer any other internal damage.
Is blowing a fuse even possible? What should my fuse look like (the thing you unscrew on the back)? Has this happened to anyone before?
I've owned my NL3 for over 2 years and have never had a single problem with it ever. It just shut off and won't turn back on. Nothing. . .
Please help! |

I suggest to check all the flat cables inside by opening them one by one and closing the slot again. Also the power chord connector on the power board. Maybe something came loose during transport...
Anyway, take also note of the difference between USA fuses and European ones, see http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-29694-25.html the post of keyboard cowboy.I'm trying... Please stay calm... |

Ok, it did indeed turn out to be a bad fuse! I was really glad it wasn't anything internal. Although I've toured extensively with my lead 3, I've taken great care of it.
Thanks for your help! |

BTW The new fuse you bought, what are its values and what size does it have?
