Hey guys!
I'm not new to this forum, but I think it's my first post here , even though I've been doing synth DIY since 2016. I'm a bit introverted and shy because I'm not an engineer, but I've always found answers for my DIY questions here or figured out the solution myself; that's why I've never posted, I think (maybe a few times to Modwiggler).
I really love the Bass ++, I've built it several times on a tiny perfboard, and Eagle-designed one. But lately, I started redesigning everything for Eurorack format for myself. Also incorporated the pitch bump, but differently, with a potentiometer so you can fine-tune the "punch" sound it gives you. I'm not sure if this very new design fits this topic as a mod...
I also designed a front panel with 3 versions. I'm a designer originally, and I really like typography. I designed the lettering myself, too, for this project, inspired by the sound of the Bass ++.
Respectfully, and as a contribution, I want to share the new schematic design with you if you're interested. You can build your own +12/-12 Eurorack version from it. I can also share the design of my prototype board layout that you can etch. It's working perfectly in my DIY Eurorack case.
I'm still not sure if this belongs here or not Smile And I'm not sure if that's ok by Thomas Henry and Scott Stites?
Thanks to everyone's work and helpful posts on this forum!
Cheers and hugz from Hungary,
Anita

welcome Anita & I think it belongs here perfectly.

Myself i'm not into making hardware, but feel free to post your design work here .. or when done in a separate thread maybe add some kinks from one to the other .. and from the other to the on .. it does not matter really .. and when posted in a less suitable place things can always be moved Smile
