Hi everyone,

I've just joined the ranks of Nord owners by purchasing a secondhand Nord Rack 2x. It sounds absolutely wonderful, but I think it's got a small defect. The thing is, it has a slight distortion on output A, which doesn't occur on output B, when I've selected mono to out A and B.
I've checked my audiointerface, my ears and my headphone by switching cables for out A & B but they're all ok. The Nord also gives a clean sound When connecting my headphone to the headphone output.
Has anybody experienced this as well? And if it actually is a hardwareproblem, would it expensive to fix?

welcome sanderd

It's hard to tell what's wrong, because the DAC's are self calibrating.
Could be a broken DAC, though.

Because your Dutch you can also phone me...

I'll PM you.

Wout

update: Lowering the masterlevel removes the distortion as does lowering the gain for audio routed to output A.

Wout, could you replicate the problem with the patches I've send you? Or is it the hardware?
