nord rack sx...HANGING NOTES...

[svoboda]

hi all,
any one know how to fix this?

hanging notes when sequence in cubase..

i got midi CHASE on....
i got local off...

is it normal?

its really annoying especially when im recording nord track as audio...

it stops when i hit the PANIC button..

the rack is nearly brand new....

PLEASE help!!!

its running through a MOTU midi express...

i also tried running it directly through midi on my focusrite saffire...

still the same problem..

Along with the hanging notes, do you get notes that do not trigger at all?

I'm asking because that would indicate a faulty (or not suitable) MIDI cable. The max length for a MIDI cable is 15 meters (45 feet) but way shorter cables have caused me problems in the past!

Try an other cable.

In CuBase MidiFilter Through disabled? This will trigger the synth twice.
You have to enable the ThroughFilter.

hi guys,

thanks for the help...

its nearly better...
i discovered that when i enable the midi thru filters .....

yes, its hanging less.....

however i had to enable the channel boxe too....in cubase..

but when i enable channel boxes in midi thru filter page..

I CANT SEEM TO WRITE ANY AUTOMATION....

so i un check the channel boxes, and yes i can write automation again..but the hanging notes come back.....

surely something is not right...

thanks again guys..
im glad you love these synths too....
