I know there are several old threads floating around concerning this issue, but I'd still like to put my mind at ease by asking a quick question. The humming is very mild and is not being transfered over the audio outs or headphone out, which are fortunately dead silent. In short should I be concerned about this? It doesn't really bother me, I just want to make sure that its not a sign that the transformer is on its last legs. Thanks in advance.

It's the iron of the case which comes into a kind of resonance...
All Clavia gear has it in a way, but the NordLead3 is the champion.

Can't thank you enough for the reply. This is a f'ing relief, because I consider the nord modular g1 and nord 1 to be the best sounding va's I've ever used. I do believe I've found myself a keeper.

My wave has a nice little hum to it too. Just gotta crank up that volume knob a bit more and drown it out
