eurorack size question

ive been looking at some euroracks and not really finding what i want, so maybe gonna try build my own... has anyone done this successfully?

what id like to do is have it sitting down on a table with a slight slope up towards the back.. so rather than being upright, it would sit on a surface, this i think would be better for live performance.

also this needs to have a section at the front to house a DSI evolver, and chaospad. any suggestions?

This, but no space to put an Evolver but you can still put it on the tabel in front of it....
