It IS a great box. I got mine before it even came out!
I love "Fantasy in Orbit". It's very Radiophonic imo.
BTW, I've also got ALL the original records as well! Including the ultra-rare 7" hotel giveaway version of "Song to the second moon".
If you can find it, it's also worth tracking down the BBC Ray Cathode single- the b side is the best "Waltz in Orbit". Apparently it was co-written and produced by George Martin (I've got that one too!) _________________ ACHTUNG!

The melody was created by cutting the tapes to appropriate lengths for the note durations and then splicing them together. Sometime, envelopes were made by cutting the tapes in wedge shapes - very difficult. The same process was used of drum-like parts. They didn't use organs because they were experimenting with new sounds that the organs couldn't make. | Ehhh... Dissevelt used organs, for sure, in his music, like 'Vibration'.

Somebody on the net, based in Hungary, wrote me 'Song of the Second Moon' was used by the state television company as leader music for a popular scientific programme. Its popularity was due to the fact it wasn't pure propaganda. I send the mail to Raaymakers (the composer, which isn't Dissevelt). A couple of month later I met Dick Raaymakers (He lives in The Hague) and he waved to me: 'My agents are working on it!' More the 20 years of broadcasting without any fee... Indeed, the M5 isn't the border

I've got the Dick Raiijmakers box set too, but to be honest, I find it rather dry and dull. There are some stunning tracks on it, a couple which are also included on the Basta box set, but that's where it kind of gets off.
The box set was a bit of a disaster for me because out of all of them, in the end I thought Henk Badings was the real genius. I thought some of his stuff reminded me of The Residents or Negativland.
Shame he was a nazi collaborator (or sympathiser? I know he had some connection with fascism) _________________ ACHTUNG!

He thought someone had to do it and a NON Nazi would be better in that job. Badings was able to spare the lifes of many jewish musicians, like the head of the Royal Conservatoirum in these days, Sem Dresden. At least, he was given time to get underground. The Germans had a very high respect for music. In these days all members of the symphonical orchestras became a regular payment (Before it was only for the hours the played in the concert hall). But still he worked for the Germans, which was a crime after the war, so he was punnished.
