Hi dudes,
this is my attempt to emulate MiniMoog architecture using its owner's manual.
It seems good, but I need some more info about Frequency controls. Minimoog manual says that frequency knobs have a range up to a major sixth respect to Osc1. This range is linear or logarithmic/exponential?
I've also downloaded a demo of Arturia Minimoog, but they've programmed a double function for those knobs using shift key pressure for coarse tuning and fine tuning as standard function.

MP3 demo to come.

This sounds very good, a real mini's tune is linear but a real knob gives much better control than the 128 step Clavia knobs. So a fine control would be handy but not authentic.

This sounds good to me. I never owned a mini though. There is a lot of talk about the difference between the virtual analog G2 and the real analog synths. To me, the fine resolution of the analog knobs is the biggest positive differentiator. Just my opinion, of course.

I tried to exactly copy it's structure and the sound while having a real one next to the G2X Cool and it's really really tough.

The 3rd osc pitch-button can go upto a major sixth, and the 2nd osc pitch-button can go upto a 5th. Not to mention the difficulties making the 3rd osc so that it can also be an LFO when switched so.

Also the filter is almost 'impossible' to create, that little whistle that appears when the resonance button is at 00:15 clockwise has to be made with a separate osc because none of the filters in the G2(x) has it.

Maybe you want to continue with my patch? i quit building on it Laughing
