hey,

so after just 2 months of owning a mm, i submitted to my desires and got an engine. so far, im quite overwhelmed.
what i basically want to do is play stuff similar to what duracell played, however, im gonna write my own stuff.

this all brings me to the question: where do i start?
from his posts on this forum i got the most necessary equipment info:
drum triggers -> preamp -> audio in -> compare to level -> sequencer etc

what i dont get is how he firstly set up his multiplexers and secondly how he got so many of them into one patch. i read up as much as i could and downloaded the mux patch of the guy who made the tribute to duracell video but even he asked how andre got so many sequencers into a patch. i also tried contacting him on youtube but so far i havent received an answer

could anyone help me get started please?
thanks!

Do you want to use the multiplexers to pass from one sequencer module to the next one ? if yes, with G2 you can chain seq modules without multiplexers.

To use the patch I posted with Audio In you just need to replace the noise gate module input by your external audio source. Then adjust the audio volume input, the Attack, Release and Threshold.

Use variations ( 1-8 ) to get more BARs. As exemple in my exemple patch I use 4 seq modules = 4 Bars X 8 variations = 32 Bars. You can update and duplicate this patch in the FX section too. X 2 = 64 BARs (from 8 seq modules). With 16 seq modules you can have 128 BARs (resolution 1/16) and X 2 or X 4 with others tricks, as exemple by using the morp feature.
