OK. here's the problem.

i've got 2 sequencers in SLOT B hooked up to the clock in the top left in RED.

the long term sequencer is labeled "LONG"
the short term sequencer is labeled "SHORT"

I WANT both sequencers to reset from the beginning when i hit RUN.

the SHORT sequencer resets to the beginning when i hit RUN, the long term sequencer does not, waiting instead until the counter has had sufficient impulses to reset itself instead.

how do i overcome this problem without having to save my work and reload the patch?

typical. the magical powers of electro-music rise again. this problem has bugged me for a while. as soon as i posted it, i realised what the "clock activate" output was for.
