The Insane Show

Inventor

This week on the Game Show we tried an experiment. I invited DrSteve to start broadcasting and I linked him into my stream using iTunes. This was fun, but the real fun began when Dr.Steve introduced feedback! That created a huge looping delay line comprised of the internet itself! At first we heard echoes, then a tornado-like washing machine built up. It was truly insane!

So the Insane Show will be experiments of this nature using internet audio as a delay line. Who knows what we'll do next?

Here is the second show, in which Antimon and I generated music while folks in the chatroom made text sounds with Vicky. Experimental radio at its best!

We had an impromptu session this night. It lasted for five hours. I read lyrics and played music and talked and even did an Insane Show session with mrcold. Recording posted for the brave....

Error. There seems to be a problem uploading the show. Perhaps the file was too big.

Hmm .. yes .. there is a file size limit ... and uploading needs some patience too ... if you cut it into two 2½ hour sessions (@ 128 kbs 44100 Hz stereo mp3) upload should be possible.

Last night was Saturday night and we held an impromptu jam session including the music and vocals of Dr Steve, wmonk, Blue Hell, ScottG, and myself. I'm posting it as two separate two hour files. Everyone agreed it was a great jam.
