Subject description: Using "note detector" to walk through an other sequencer note ?

Hi everyone,


I've 3 drum triggers in the physical inputs of my G2, bass drum, snare and tom. With the tom trigger, i would like to use in order to "pass" into the others note sequencer that i've patched.

I'm not behind my gear now, but i've read that this could be able to do this with a note detector module. So if i write into the note detector module the last notes for each of my note sequencer, every time i'll HIT the tom, it will pass into the others note sequencer ?

Any Suggestion ?

To be more precise,
Actually i would like that the tom changes the bassline every time i Hit him.
I don't know how this can be able. Confused

In 3 audio trigger them both with use of 2 logic Xor modules. Also fun to change 1 or both to Or/And etc.

Hej Roland,

I must go step by step.
I've done a more clear patch to my own, and still can't get with the XOR function. the output will be on if the inputs are different. I can't link this to my patch...

My two pulse (kick and snare) must be mixed with a logic gate module, i just know a little about that.

Can you explain a little more / step by step this story, maybe references in Soundlab 1 ? javascript:opener.emoticon('Let us pray')

XOR

A B Q
0 0 0
1 0 1
0 1 1
1 1 0

If either A OR B is 1, but NOT both, Q is 1.

It doesn't matter if you send triggers from an audio input or from the Event Sequencer to the A and B input.
What it means is that when there is a signal on 1 input, you sequencer will go 1 step further. Except with on both audio input triggering.
And when there is no triggering at all, no step forward aether Wink
