Can somebody guide me through the basic principles of sequencing an external synth - in my case an andromeda - using the G2?

How basic would you like it to be ?

Attached is a very basic patch that you could try some things with. Like trying what the knobs on the note send module do, or what the T button on the the top sequencer does.

When you want longer sequences some trickery is needed to chain sequencers, the manual seems to have incorrect examples.

So, I'm currently trying to use the G2X to sequence a SEMPRO. I can't seem to get useful results out of Note feature on the NoteSend module. Like even if I throw a fast rate LFO on it, I can hear much of a change in pitch.

What I'd really like to do is set up a simple 8 step sequencer in the G2X which will allow me to use to use the hardware buttons to turn trig/gate on or off, and then use the corresponding knob to adjust pitch on the fly. Can such a thing be done? It seems like once I use trig, all pitch control flies out the window. And if I use gate then I can't accurately control the rhythmic pattern as they start to mush together.

Any ideas on how to do this?
