With the help of some kind people here I finally got this little patch to work... This little gem lets you send up to 8 control signals through 1 audio wire at a frequency of 3 kHz each at 24 kHz MUX (6 kHz each if you can get 48 kHz MUX to work - doesn't work with me, but others say it's working)... Thanx to everyone who helped! Smile

If 24 kHz is enough it should be possible to turn the modules into 24 kHz mode (yellow/blue) and save some DSP...

Indeed it does not work all times at 48 kHz (but sometimes it does ??).

There is another thing: the multiplexer and the demultiplexer run unsnchronized which means that chanels dont get out where they go in.

I suggest a modification (which seems to work here).

(the replacement of the divider by a flip-flop was not intentional, just a left over from an experiment)

Jan, yes if you can spare an audio channel for the sync this is an obvious solution... I'm still tinkering with a way to let the sync signal through one of the MUX control channels... Confused

There is one other thing that comes to mind then, channel 1 now always has a +64 level value now, so that could maybe be used as a sync signal.

Maybe it should be raised in amplitude to make it unlikely for another channel to reach that volume.

With proper signal conditioning it could be used to reset the sequencer in the FX area I guess.

There must be some synching though, as without it there is just a chance of 1 out of 8 it will work.

Hmm, when I load up the patch, the Mux and DeMux seems to be in sync every time, is it the same or different for you? Another option would be to sync the restart of each seq to a master clock, but that's kind of an emergency option...

Sorry, got fooled by the noise osc being disabled (I mean, I knew that, but forgot again on reloading the orignal).

It seems to sync all the time, wonderfull !

(except that I'm now breathing at 0.64 Hz :-)

Does anyone else hear the bad noise in the noise? And for some reason the volume has dropped too.

I tried running it at 48k. It only works if you delete the clockdiv module. This sounds much better, but you can still hear some difference between the two. Try connecting the output of the channel with the lfo to the main outs and you hear a tone that pulses in and out in time with the LFO Shocked. Using only 4 channels makes things better, but still not ideal...

Maybe there's a way to clean up the signal once it's been through this process...?

Yes, there is a lot of noise on the signals. I found putting in a glide module to smooth things out a bit.
