Here is a DIY verb based on one of the oldest designs. It is simply a chain of three digital allpass filters (not to be confused with the other kind) with gain of 0.7 and 3 not so carefully selected delay times. It has a character similar to the early Korg rack reverbs (i.e. crap) but it uses much less dsp than the Clavia one. Might be useful for dirty gated reverb and low fi fans may prefer its gritty character.

Cool, thanx Ian! You're a really prolific patcher. Have to give it a good listen on my monitors instead of my laptop crappy speakers, but I dig the lofi character.
I like to hear many different reverb techniques, both out of technical interest and to have many different reverb characteristics. I know some of the influential people here have a thing against cliche use of reverb (don't ban me, mosc, please Wink ), but I like it as a real *effect*, to give coloration purposefully and not necessarily realistically. Keep 'em coming Cool

BTW: to get good delay settings, it is often recommended to take delay times that are mutual primes. This is hard to do on the G2, but you can do it roughly. In addition, ringing can be minimized by selecting delay times in such a way that the longest delay is maximally 1.5 or 2 times the shortest delay.
