I moved myself, wife and two small children across the Atlantic Ocean from Connecticut to London, UK, in 1998. In Connecticut I worked in a suburban office park, and drove 5 miles from a neighboring town, maybe a 10-12 minute drive. In London, I worked near Liverpool St, in the City of London, and had to take the Tube to work and back. It was quite a cultural change for me. I also got my first true software synthesizer then, it was ReBirth. I managed to get ReWire to work and got it all working with DP (well before OSX came out). This album started in 1998 while grumbling about commuting, and I released it in early 2000.

First track is Mix 141.

Change at Holborn. For about 5 months I was shuttling between the City and the West End as I was in charge of building a new office. Took the Central Line from Liverpool St, changed at Holborn to the Picadilly Line, and off at Green Park. And back and forth. Sometimes twice a day.

Millenium Bug is in honor of that boondoggle where everyone was scared that all our computers were going to fail on Jan 1, 2000 (or was it 2001) :p

Anyway, I had to work on certifying all of my systems as Y2K-OK.

This last one on the album is probably my favourite of them all.

This used the Liquid mod from ReBirth.
