Subject description: Hear some of this music live at electro-music 2007
Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread

My recent music, some of which I will play at electro-music 2007, received a favorable review at the swanwelder.com website:

http://www.swanwelder.com/mutereactionary/Kevin_Kissinger.htm

My set for electro-music 2007 will include original compositions mentioned in the review -- "Last Leaf of Autumn", "Meteor Mallets", and "Mummies and Unholy Ghosts" -- along with two never-before-heard works entitled "Three Legged Race" and "Spiral Galaxies".

The new works incorporate live-looping techniques along with my synthesized elements. Everything will be presented in surround-sound format. Even if you've heard the mp3s (from my website) you will hear the music as never before in surround sound format.

Look forward to seeing you at electro-music 2007!

Thank you for your compliments.

Just arrived home a couple of hours ago and am catching up -- what a treat to see your posts.

To make music for the supportive, upbeat crowd at electro-music is a delight and honor.

Kevin's performance at electro-music 2007 was masterful. I too was knocked out. That's a great expression for it because afterwards I felt very different physically. Tingly all over for about an hour. It was a tremendous experience.

Kevin is a great composer and a great Theremin player. He's also a master synthesist. The sounds he gets with the K2600 are beyond sampling.

I've always wondered what it was like to hear Mozart premiere one of his piano concerti. Didn't the people listening recognize the greatness. Well, associating Kevin with Mozart might not fly with everyone, but that's what I was thinking. Every in the CAC on Friday felt something like that too.

BTW, Kevin's performance was in surround. Well done and it enhanced the experience.

Way to go Kevin. Bravo. The honor was ours. Hail the Master Hail the Master Hail the Master Hail the Master Hail the Master Hail the Master Hail the Master Hail the Master

Howard,

That you and others were excited and moved by the music means a lot to me. I was very moved by the reception that I and my music received at the electro-music festival. Couldn't ask for any better support.

The electro-music festival was a real high point and look forward to attending/participating next year.
