Connecting Nord Wave and Midi Controller

[Kcarkeet]

Hey all,

Been playing soft synths off of Ableton via Midi Controller live for awhile. Just got a Nord Wave. As I'm just now finding out that you can't split the keys, I wondered if you can set it up so the Nord Wave plays (for instance) Slot A, and the Midi controller plays Slot B. Or anything of the sort.

I know I can sample and key map to split the keys, but adding an extra 61 keys that can play the sampled sounds would be sick.

Thoughts?

Thanks guys!

Yes, you can midi one of the slots to a controller. It is a hidden function I believe, hook one up and fiddle with the midi settings and you will figure it out.
