Earwaves
Dwight Loop, programmer, long-time public radio host is back on-line this time with a new streaming channel "Earwaves" on SomaFM (www.somaFM) soon! Very soon, we'll be online with this. Earwaves was a celebrated new music/electronic/experimental radio show for over 20 years on public radio in New Mexico. (see below)
Would like service from labels, artists, who are interested in getting their music on the new streaming channel for one of the most popular networks of alternative music channels in the world! Please email Dwight@earwaves.net to get info on how to contribute!
Description:
Earwaves on SomaFM is a collection of new and experimental music from around the world, focusing on but not exclusive to - the experimental side of electronics, new music, 20th and 21st century contemporary classical (minimalists and avant garde), progressive electronics, electro-acoustic, computer music and other mutant art-music forms. The approach is, as Dwight describes it, "ancient-to-the-future" - spanning the complete history of electronic and experimental music from the early pioneers to the latest innovators. Earwaves, a front row seat on the long, historical ride of thought provoking sonic exploration. www.earwaves.net
