Nord Rack 2X doesnt send automation to Cubase Midi channel

Hi all

My nord Rack2x doesnt send the knob movements automation to Cubase Midi channel.

What am i doing is;

1-All the connections done ( midi and audio)

2-I create Midi device on Cubase 5 and add the XML file of the Nord rack 2x and after make correct settings for add external instrument.

3-I create a midi instrument (External nord rack2x) from vst instrument menu.

Now;

I can record my midi's coming from nord rack2x and play back the presets,banks everything fine.

I can change the knob movements from my nords panel and hear the changed sounds like filter and see from the device panel it is working.But i CANNOT write and read or record the automation from my nord rack2x front panel.

I set the "local on" because it is not working with "local off" mode. it disable the knobs.

What can i do know ? is there something i miss like global midi channel setting or send knob settings for to record or anything else ?

How can i send knob movements when i am on write mode on Cubase ?

Have you tried Midi Global 16 allready?

Midi Global is an old fashion way to handle Midi info, special SysEx.
On the other hand CuBase has also a SysEx filter, which has to be set to disabled.

I have similar/other problem.

I load Nordlead2.xml in Devices and can record param-values from Cubase.
But it seems only be possible to that on one part (slot-1 which is on channel 1).
Is it possible to record on other channel and slot?

Press Slot button B and when it's Midi channel is e.g. 12 it will be recorded on channel 12.

Well, it is more a CuBase problem than a Lead problem then?

Maybe the magic trick works...
Go to [Shift+2xMidi], which opens Global Midi and set the channel to 16.

Let me know if it works or not...

My nord has already Global set to 16.

In Cubase all automation is only send on channel 1, cannot send to other slot than 1.
