According to the stamps and the codes and shit on the package the envelope has spent at least 3-4 days sitting here in Trondheim somewhere and awaiting someone to feel like actually putting it in my mailbox. Meanwhile I had to spend a good deal of the "low badwidth" I had on private message exchange with Randal ... for his chatter project (what's in name) .. he messed up some threads and wanted me to fix stuff. I had to explain to him a few times that I can't merge threads and that maybe next time he wants a split he should ask for a moderator to do it instead of making a mess out of it himself.

I've had problems with Norweigen customs before. It's all about Norway NOT being part of Europe (or the EEC)
I sold a Canon lens on eBay to this customer in Norway, and customs wouldn't let her have it because it was posted from an address in the EC. In the end they just gave it to her because I had 'forgotten' to put my sender details on the box, and the only addie they had was hers. _________________ ACHTUNG!

That's another amusing thing about Randal isn't it? I think he just expects us to just go away. I got that feeling from him when questioning his motives before. It's like EM.com is HIS forum- not ours

No, but they will be here by the week of the 15th. Two weeks after the QFG's as originally stated. Perhaps sooner, but not later.
FWIW, I will pay for double shipments so no one who has ordered both will have to wait on one to receive the other. (Some had asked to wait until all boards were ready to ship; but I think the delay up to this point means they each need to go out ASAP.)

That's right, I had forgotten about Randal's "promised" delivery date for the VCA boards and whatnot. Was that supposed to be November 15th? I just love the fact that he's waist deep in back orders and yet still takes on Chatterboxes, Chinese puzzle boxes, a NAMM show booth, chapter long responses to things like simple metal working questions, and Lord knows what else. I was hoping the guy had learned his lesson, but I think history will probably repeat itself very soon now.
Any bets on delivery date for the quad VCA and PWM boards? This year? Next? Star Date 24:17:91? A long time from now in a galaxy far, far away?

OK, lessee.....according to Herr Ipsum, "most" of the boards were mailed by 20 November, so my bet is on 13 Dec, in the year 3535, ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies. Everything you think, do and say, is in the pill you took today. Wo-oh.
I'm thinking that Randal is using one of those all-in-one PCB fabs. You know, they take the order, fuck up the schedule, then fuck up sending the boards out, then, for a nominal charge, provide top-notch excuses to cover their client's ass. No wonder he never reveals the mfr's name - everybody would be using them. _________________ My Site
